BIM ENGINEER

ABOUT THE ROLE

The BIM Engineer (Building Information Modelling) is responsible for all model development, 2D/3D drawings and perform clash detection of BMS, EPMS, and CMS projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model development, construction, documentation, and production techniques

  • Preparation and updates of Revit Models

  • Preparation of 2D/3D shop drawings and as-built drawings

  • Creation of Revit families following project specific parameters

  • Perform clash detection, identify, and resolve conflict between external parties before start construction

  • Assist internal departments with drawing related documentation

  • Coordination with external parties for BIM related matters

    • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering.

    • Proficiency in Autodesk, specialising in one or more of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP).

    • Knowledgeable in Autodesk CAD and BIM software/tools.

    To gain an added advantage:

    • Knowledge of BIM concepts and their applications in BIM workflows

    • Professional Certification in AutoCAD/Revit software.

    • Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Naviswork & SkechUp

    • Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering concepts, and industrial standard

  • On-site. Outstation posting as and when needed.
