SERVICE ENGINEER
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Service & Commissioning Engineer will play a key role in maintenance & commissioning of BMS projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. This role requires a strong technical background in HVAC systems, controls engineering, and project management, along with excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Installation & Commissioning:
Oversee the installation and commissioning of equipment and systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Conduct thorough testing and calibration to verify system functionality and performance.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve any technical issues during the commissioning phase.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, implementing effective solutions promptly.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and service reports.
Perform remote and on site support to ensure continuity and functionality of systems
Client Interaction & Training:
Provide on-site training to clients, ensuring they are proficient in operating and maintaining equipment.
Address client inquiries and concerns, offering technical support as needed.
Foster strong client relationships to promote customer satisfaction and retention.
Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including service reports, maintenance logs, and compliance records.
Ensure all activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the development and improvement of standard operating procedures.

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
Proficient in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of a variety of control systems, including PLC, SCADA, and HMI
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues
Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
Willingness to travel to client sites and work outside of standard business hours when necessary
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations
To gain an added advantage:
1 year or more of experience as a Service and Commissioning Technician in the automation or control systems industry (fresh graduates are nonetheless encouraged to apply)
